AN INFORMATION DESIGNER IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL DESIGNER.

Information Design is the art of organizing and presenting information in a manner that is most effective for an audience. In order to present such content, an Information Designer must not only be knowledgeable in design but also in usability and technical writing. Together these make up successful communication.

About Me

Hello! I am Jenna Wakoluk and I am an Information Design student currently enrolled in my fourth year at
Mount Royal University. From an early age, I have always had a passion for art and anything that involved
a little creativity. Coming out of my final year, I am looking forward to a future career as an Information
Designer and using the various skills I have learned such as: designing, writing, creating and critiquing
websites, organizing information, and photography.

My prior experience includes two summer internships at Alberta Energy Regulator - working alongside
two senior graphic designers, as well as various free-lance jobs. The following webpage showcases
some of my favorite design pieces from my internships, freelance jobs, and school projects
.
